Thu, 07/07/2011 The Shankill Women’s Centre celebration day for 2011 was held in June and was overall a great day for everyone involved.
Over 80 women attended to celebrate their achievements over the year and receive certificates
Our special guest was William Humphries, who presented the women with their certificates along with Betty Carlisle.
On the day we also had a presentation from our Young People Empowerment Project. The YPEP also demonstrated the work they do with the young people of the Shankill Area. Playing a game they use, to raise awareness of sexually transmitted infections with the young people.
